San Francisco: 4th of July
A little throw back to my last 4th of July spent with my family in San Francisco!
It was a short little weekend get away trip. & I recall it being absolutely freeezing while I was there besides the noon hours when the sun would be beaming straight down. Hopefully this year it's much better in SF and wishing all my American friends a Wonderful 4th of July! Lots of movement has been going on for the past year and I'm happy to join in to say #LOVEWINS for all 50 states of yours!
A couple places I hit up while I was in San Fran was:
Ike's Place : Hot day, 30 min wait in line for a sandwich? YEP! This place was recommended to me by a friend who regularly flies down to SF. They had a ton to choose from I would recommend trying their Dutch Crunch bread with any sandwiches that has their dirty sauce (; ! My cousins & I tried the Matt Cain and Menage a Trios - both very filling and could easily be 2 meals . Oh before you go, you can also check out their secret menu!
In N Out : 2 Protein Burgers (instead of buns this just comes with hand leafed lettuce) + fries please! :D In & Out is a must whenever I'm in the states. #Guiltypleasures
Trader Joes: omg omg omg TRADER JOES was :D. Whenever I am in a natural food store my inner nutrition nerd does a little happy dance. A girl friend of mine hyped this place up and recommended me to make a stop and I see what's all the fuss! I found some delicious organic white wine for $5! Every kind of cookie butter, salts and delicious dark chocolate. Mm I had fun! :)
+ a couple china town mom and pop shops & did a little work session at the downtown Library with my cousin! :)
