'Be With' Inspiration from Eckhart Tolle
When was the last time you took a walk through your own heart and mind?
Did you enjoy the stroll ?
“In today’s rush we all think too much, seek too much, want too much and forget about the joy of just Being.”
"Surely silence can sometimes be the most eloquent reply."
I deeply treasure moments where I allow myself the time to take a step back, have a sip of tea, lay back and breathe. In the stillness of silence, everything that matters becomes louder in the mind, but still in the heart. I've learned the art of surrender isn't to say " I give up.", it is " I give in to what IS, and what is - doesn't define me. I am simply allowing myself the freedom to BE WITH rather than resist."
The freezing cold water stilled my mind, and awaken my body with sending shivers and resistance throughout. While laying in foreign sensations in nature (ie: mushy moss, slim, mud) within a flowing stream, I mentally questioned whether I'd get sick or get hurt . However since I decided to get my feet wet (literally and figuratively), I knew I would be all in at some point after the initial shock. I managed to mentally and physically work myself towards the state of 'be with', (Thankfully my photographer/friend Kaitlyn, was wonderful, encouraging and patient) my body and mind was able to slowly and surely welcome calmness from mother nature.
"When you become comfortable with UNCERTAINTY, infinite possibilities open up in your life. "
And along the way, you may inspire, create and learn something absolutely beautiful about YOURSELF!
“Whatever you fight, you strengthen, and what you resist, persists.”
