All that Glitter is not Gold
On my last morning in Utah, my friend and I seek out to capture the Blue Hour: The period of time where the sun is below the horizon and the sky is the most beautiful shade of blue. We woke up around 5am and drove. Unfortunately the place we thought of going... didn't work out, so with time pass ... instead of blue, we captured gold.
Now despite missing what I had intended to do, I gained a wonderful reminder of,
"All that glitter is not gold. Not all those who wander are lost."
A few months ago, I was in an emotionally stubborn state/situation. I had intended something to work out quite badly which left me feeling a bit lost and hopeless. I was well convinced that if I endured just a little longer, it would all pan out the way I wanted. (yes emotions, how irrational they can be at times)... however after a weekend of pure emotional roller coasting, I've realized maybe... just maybe not all I want is what is meant to be. All that glitter is not gold, and it was time to give it a different perspective and get off the ride.
In not catching the blue, the morning has allowed me to be bathe in the beauty of golden rays instead, which was quite alright with me. (:
