I ended class pretty late on Thursday night, and I was craving for korean bibimbap! So my friend and I went out for the hunt! Unfortunately one of our favourite places in the area was oddly closed that evening so with urbanspoon ... we decided on the
'korean' cuisine tab and found WOW Chicken down Kensington. We ordered a split order of spicy sauce/regular chicken, side of bulgogi fries (these were yummy!) and a salad (for the attempt to balance out the unhealthiness of this meal :P). The chicken was actually pretty good, wasn't overly breaded, oily or fatty. It comes pretty close to my liking for fried chicken from Popeye's in Toronto, but less of the 'fast food feel'. I like the chic interior, it reminds me of restaurants I see in korean dramas. Next time you're craving for fried chicken for some reason? Give WOW a go!

Man do they have a big carrot cake at Purple Perk... and lots of other big slices of cakes! (look at the picture!) :P
After my morning meeting I took a stroll down the block and met up with my friend who was on break from working at the gym downtown in Hotel Arts. I introduced him to the world of macarons at Yann's and then we walked over to Purple Perk! I got my favourite Thai Beef Panini (slices of beef, cilantro, beans, onions, vermicelli and carrots) it's like a mini bowl of bun thit in a form of a wrap and I love how different it is! This place also has really good coffee and chai, perfect little place for a quick lunch and to meet with a friend when you're down mission.

My ultimate crave of the week - Bibimbap after work with friends. (Hot stone bowl with rice, mixed veggies and beef)
